  @Ulrich - The app currently doesn't support 10.6 and earlier. I'll try an get a more user-friendly way of letting people know this in an update soon

  @Matthew - We're working on the @2x icons. They're not as easy to make as it might seem and we want to get them done right :)

  Thanks for getting the app out.

  It doesn't start up on OS X 10.6.8. Crashes immediately :(

  FYI Flash + Air now have retina support on Mac, it sounds like small changes and a repackage is all that's needed? While we wait on native app :) http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/release-note/fp_116_air_36_release_notes.html

  They do have native with Retina! It's Called Messages.app!

  beta.hipchat.com is merely a launchrock landing page. This amounts to nothing more than a tease. There is no product promised, no featureset mentioned, no nothing. Simply a way to capture email addresses and measure "interest", but considering they don't even outline what it _is_ they're measuring interest in, I would personally be dubious about conclusions drawn from beta.hipchat.com.

  They just announced their private beta at http://beta.hipchat.com/?lrRef=Pqw90r claiming that "Something big is coming" (I can't say that I consider it big, quite small really as it is useless to me unless it helps them get a Linux native client soon after).
